Cave was born from a childhood memory. A condition I often sought out at my nearest mountain. Being in total communion with one of nature’s elements. I can still feel the feel of bare feet and hands on the sunwarmed body of the mountain. The way the leaves rustle in the wind, the discovery of an insect and little fingers meditatively fiddling with a bit of soil. About how time has suddenly changed and become more, how I am one with everything and expand into this being.
When I walk home, I am different than when I arrived. And what worried me before is no longer there. Cave has been with me for a long time now, both in creative form but above all in my being. Through events that take place in the private and in the world, it has become clear that the inner needs to be illuminated first. A process that will hopefully never end. For anyone.
